Each country on this planet has an Army Corp of Engineers protecting the shoreline to the high water point, then the municipality takes over. We work well with them at At Adopt A Shoreline AND World Oceans Day Education; we all have the same mission which is to protect the environment and promote sustainability for future generations. We all work towards reducing carbon emissions, conserving natural resources, eco systems, watersheds and promoting eco-friendly practices.

Our History

Founded in 2009, Adopt A Shoreline and World Oceans Day Education have been leading environmental organizations for over 15 years. We have a proven track record of successful email and social media campaigns and initiatives that have helped to improve the health of our planet and the oxygen supply our oceans and trees give us (80% from oceans, 20% from trees) with our Ocean Hero and YOU leading the way.

Our team is made up of passionate and dedicated individuals who are committed to protecting our world environment. We have experts in the fields of sustainability, ecology, and conservation who work tirelessly to further our mission.
